Search folder exclussion list

#1 Post by clanman » 12.01.2010, 11:16

I use the search (Alt+F7) a lot. What I would love to be able to do is define a list of paths which the search does nlot traverse. This would save a great deal of time when searching multiple drives that contain say temp folders which you do not want searched.

Perhaps like this?

File name:
[abc . . . . . . . . ]

Containing text:
[ . . . . . . . . . . . ]

Search in:
[C:\ . . . . . . . . . ]

Including (+) / Excluding (-):
[-C:\Windows\Temp;+C:\ProgramData;+C:\Program Files]

What an excellent example Dreamer. I might even simplify it a little more by saying the + would only be optional as it would be assumed.
