Herewith I refer to the report "87 Der Parameter stimmt nicht."

have tested it same with a public ftp server, always the same error message... What's wrong ? - Freecommander is such a great tool, I would like to keep it... and connect FTP and avoid to take seperatelly FTP clients (WS_FTP LE or GoFTP or FTP Commander), which give me access to my own servers without any problems.

I am also getting an error message that reads "87 The parameter is incorrect". I cannot find any reference to it in the help file. Any ides on what to do, or where to look for my error?

Having played with FTP connections a bit, it looks as though the error 87 message is a Windows error message when trying to establish the FTP connection.

It also seems specific to Windows 98, so I imagine it is a permanent "feature" of Free Commander from now on!
