file output limited to 1000 items?

I am trying to view a folder with well more than 1000 items in it yet FC seems to truncate the output to only 1000 items. Is there a way to make this number greater? I really do need to see the full folder. The folder is on a FTP site and not one of my own drives, if that makes any difference.
