Is there a one panel view in FC ?

#1 Post by gargandua » 21.08.2009, 05:49

I always see two panels in FC but sometimes I only want to see one panel. Is this possible ?

Just out of curiosity I just checked this myself. Yes it is. Right click on the 'splitter' - that is, the division between the two panes, and you get a menu including the option you want. You can't do that for switching back to dual pane, because there is then no 'splitter' to right-click on, BUT you can go to View > Split window and you're in clover again!

one pane view

The option when rightclicking the "splitter" is 0/100 split. I would have called it more simply "one pane view"
I can restore the two pane view by pointing the mouse at one side of the pane and the mouse would change to a double line, which I can drag

The 0/100 or 100/0 lets you decide which side to keep. It makes sense to me. Also, you can still right-click on the splitter in one-pane view-- it's that little extra line on the side.
