I really took that to heart and though now there are LCD displays instead of CRTs, I still try to employ color schemes that reduce the "light bulb" effect...
The toolbars on the upper right are for applications and that icon is for FreeCommander's "Split File" function.
My display is a 24". Have my eye on a 30" sometime soon.
