If I right-click on the right side of the address bar, I get the opportunity to select "Edit address bar" - but I cannot find any entry for that in the menues, and I can neither find a way to assign a keyboard shortcut to that specific feature. Can anyone tell me if it is possible - and evetually how?

To change the shortcut go to menu > Extras > Keyboard shortcuts > Folder - Edit address bar.
Another way is middle mouse button click the address bar - empty space or last / actual folder.

You're welcome. It's not easy to find what you need sometimes, it would be useful to have some quick search, or quick filter feature in keyboard shortcut dialog.

You can edit address bar by clicking the middle wheel button on it. no need for keyboard short-cut, unless you don't use mouse.
