Look, find and enjoy

I have been using FC for a couple of years now and still I find uses for features I once said "I will never use that!".

So may I suggest there is a wealth of features and abilities in FC and if it does not have an exact feature you would like, see if there if there is a combination of things that will do the job you are looking for.

As yet, this approach has gotten me out if many a spot.

Here is but a short list of the major things which make my days much easier.
1. File Filter
2. New Directory (the ability to create a tree of sub directories especially)
3. Working with compressed files
4. Splitting files
5. Layouts
6. Editor (F4). I love PSPad and use it for everything.
7. Directory sizing (Alt+F9)

Yes any software can be made better yet this is a fantastic piece of software as it is. Even though it has been stated the re-write will/may not contain everything the current incarnation of FC has, I look forward to the first release.

Thank You Marek for your forethought, acceptance of user suggestions and most of all your willingness to share this superb application with us all.

If you use F7 to create directories, you can create sub directories at the same time.

EG. if you want to create the structure My DVDs\TV\DR WHO, instead of creating the first folder then entering that folder and creating the second and so on you simply press F7 and type My DVDs\TV\DR WHO in the dialogue box. FC will create the structure for you.
