Icons and Text

#1 Post by jakarma » 08.01.2009, 09:09

Is it possible to have text either beneath or beside the icons on the toolbar??
With a lot of icons it sometimes gets confusing what each does.
If not will make this a request.

jakarma there is no option to put the description of the buttons on them however there is the option to remove the buttons you do not use (Extras->Settings->View->Toolbar) by deselecting the ones you do not want.

You can also change what is displayed as the tool tip for the individual icon. Search your language file in the folder LNG located where you installed FC and change the text for the icons you want different to whatever you want.

I suggest you take a copy of the language file before you do this. :D

clanman , yes have already customized my toolbar , but I like the description as well as icons. Just a personal thing. Some file manageras give the option to have icons or text or both.
Not a big deal however. Thanks anyway.

It will be added in the next version (totally new version, not the new version which should be release this month). More here:
