DWF-viewer/plug-in?

#1 Post by MartWard » 28.11.2008, 12:33

Is there a way to view DWF-files from AutoDesk? With the use of the CADview plugin I can see dwg-files. But as far as I can see nothing exists to view these DWF-files.

Has anyone an idea?

Thanks

Now it is the case that IExplorer and FireFox supports the DWF view with a DWF-plugin. So I was able to configure the Internal Viewer that it uses IExplorer when previewing a DWF-file. So the problem is solved.

Still problems with viewing DWF-files

I tried to configure FC on another computer the same way like I did on the first computer, as I discribed previously. I added the dwf extension in the settings of the Quick Viewer under Display at startup > As Internet.
But at this computer it does not work. :(

I can drag the dwf into IE and it opens there, so the dwf-plugin is well installed for IE.

FC quick view shows the PDF files perfectly. So this is working fine.

The only difference is that on this computer is IE7 installed and on the first one IE6. Can this be the problem? And if this can be the problem, how to solve it. Anyone an idea? :?

To whom it concerns:

It is solved again after installation of IE8. So DWF-files can be viewed and redlined without a problem.
