Problem with maintaining location in file pane using a mouse

#1 Post by Bearded Kirklander » 02.12.2008, 13:28

Using FC394 Beta on Windows XP SP2.

The recently added feature to maintain the location in the file pane after drilling down and coming back up seems to have a bug that is mouse related, I think.

I use my mouse to double click into an audiobook folder.

I then double click on the first file, which loads into Spider Player no sweat.

But when I use the mouse to double click on the "Up Bar" at the top of the pane's file list, the pane then shows the file list from the first entry of items in that pane.

If I press Up or Down arrow, it shows that it is still selected but the location is now at the bottom of the pane.

So even though it does remember and select the proper folder name, when I use the mouse to go up, it's no longer shown in the original location in that file pane.

This seems to occur only when I use the mouse to double click back up to the previous level.

If I do all the navigation with the keyboard and press the Backspace key to go up a level, the position is preserved and the entry properly selected.

I hope I'm explaining this well enough.

If you need more details, please let me know.

Thank you
