So what does this mean? The user can change almost every color - but not of pop-up windows? Or the user can choose to divert from default colors of them - but at the cost of having to use a whole Color Scheme from a pool of 4? Or choose one of those 4 Schemes - and then modify them as pleased [but retaining colored pop-ups]?Marek wrote: 11.12.2021, 16:54 The dialog colors are possible only in the predefined color schemes FreeCommander_Solarized, FreeCommander_Dark_Blue, FreeCommander_Dark, FreeCommander_Light and only in the 64 bit version.
The dialog colors are predefined and can not be changed.

Ironically, the one color scheme I want, freecommander_light, has no download link. Just enough color to make the window stand out against the bland crap background of Win 10.
Is this only available to donors?
[the other neon garish schemes are a fun nostalgia trip back to Win 95 and Winamp days! Been there, done that!

I'm really loving Solarized Dark. It looks exactly the same as my coding environment in VSCode!

Window thick ugly borders
I have had my own colors file for some time. I converted it to use dark dialogs via the VclStyle... items in the inf and colors files.
All is good.
Except why do all the dark schemes I've used to design my own style have thick ugly grey borders on my FC window?
They take up a considerable amount of screen real estate and are plain ugly.
How can I reduce them to match the thin borders I have on every other Windows window?
Thank you

Menu selected item colour
It turns out that my menu pull down selected item colour is a different colour to my normal selected item colour I have everywhere else in FC.
This colour is set in the Windows settings as my accent colour.
Is there an item in the inf or colors file that can change this? I have gone through them many times to no avail.
Thank you.
