910 - Copy with dialog to file container issue

#1 Post by Dreamer » 20.07.2024, 13:06

To reproduce:
- use default settings
- use File/folder operations option "Use FreeCommander" for Copy
- open file container in right panel
- open any local folder with the files in left panel
- select any file in left panel
- press F5 to copy with dialog
= result - file is copied without dialog

Because of this issue (or behavior) it's impossible to use options like:
- "Copy folder structure only"
- "Copy to selected folders or links in the target panel"

910 64-bit donor, 901 32-bit public.

I can confirm this in Build 911 64-bit Donor Installed

And also in Build 911 64-bit Donor Portable - when having this option set to

Tools > Settings > File/folder operations > Copy > Use external program > C:\Program Files\TeraCopy\TeraCopy.exe Move *"%ActivSelAsFileUtf8%" "%InactivDir%"

i.e. FreeCommander nor TeraCopy ask for confirmation

Build 946 64-bit Donor Portable & Build 941 32-bit Public Installed on Windows 10 IOT Enterprise LTSC 21H2 x64 (19044.6691)

Nothing has changed - although I have now observed that if I will try to execute F5 on an item located on Desktop, then a FC pop-u will show up saying
Operation is not supported!
but I reckon the same would have happened on my previous setup
