FreeCommander XE 2023 Build 903 64-bit donor (Windows 10 Pro 22H2)
Today I noticed this strange behavior on two systems.
Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. In Settings, set One tree per panel.
2. Open tree at least in one panel.
3. In the panel with tree, go to the user profile path like %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\FreeCAD (I insert the path into address bar).
4. Now copy a file from the opposite panel into this panel.
5. After the copy operation, the panel with tree immediately jumps several folder levels up (in my case to %USERPROFILE%).
Later, I found there is a setting Tree > Management > Show hidden folders which, when enabled, makes the path not to change after the copy operation.
However, it would be nice if the path never changed (regardless of that setting), because it's confusing obviously. Besides you can navigate to any hidden folder either from address bar or from the file list and the path is visible regardless of the tree setting.
Copy to user profile path (while tree is open) makes you go 1+ level(s) up
Re: Copy to user profile path (while tree is open) makes you go 1+ level(s) up
I experienced the same after upgrading to v903 Donor. In my case, it happens even if the setting Tree > Management > Show hidden folders is enabled.and it can cause *major* problems if you don't notice and start moving/deleting/copying into the new location.
This was not happening with the prior version installed (in my case v891). I will go back to that version as I know it works fine until this is resolved.

Re: Copy to user profile path (while tree is open) makes you go 1+ level(s) up
I think, I have found the problem.
I can reproduce it only with the active option "One tree per panel".
Fixed for the next release.

Thank you for the fix @Marek. It works perfectly now.
