Possible to show entire path for delete confirmation message box?

#1 Post by Free4all » 14.11.2023, 01:01

When hard deleting (not to the Recycle Bin) a file or folder, a confirmation message box is displayed asking the user if they really want to delete the selected file/folder.

Is it possible to display the file's/folder's entire pathname in that confirmation message box?

This will help prevent user errors when one pane displays current data and another displays backup data. Because the filenames will be identical in both panes, seeing the entire path in the confirmation message box will provide clarity as to what will truly be deleted.

Which option for delete operation you use "Use Windows" or "Use FreeCommander"?
If "Use Windows" is used - the confirmation dialog is from Windows.
Otherwise show dialog you mean.

I do use the "Use Windows" option. Thank you for confirming that message box is issued by Windows itself.
