RESOLVED in 807: BUG 806 - Bug when deleting with Plain view files activated

To reproduce:

1. CTRL+B to active plain view files
2. Right mouse click and delete or alternatively use the delete toolbar icon.
3. File does not get removed from the list.



Refreshing seems to work but I was wondering if this is a feature or a bug?

The file IS removed, with custom or default settings, but with default settings auto-refresh does not work, but file is always removed.

What're your settings for this settings page?

I've checked and it's same as the default bar the add new items at the end of the list is on in mine.

With default settings first and second option is enabled, others disabled. When I delete a file in plain view, view is not auto-refreshed, but file is deleted, after manual refresh it's removed from list.

With my custom settings I have enabled the first, 4th and 5th option, others are disabled. Here the file is removed and auto-refresh works.

I can't reproduce this bug, try to test it with default settings, or send the ini file to Marek to test.

With default settings here it works as it should.

I looked up the two ini files using winmerge with the factory ini file and mine but didn't notice any difference.

But then I remembered that I changed the default file/folder operations for delete to use windows as opposed FC to handle it.

After changing this to FC there was no bug.

I really want to keep this setting as I can undo any deletes from my NAS drive.

I can't confirm with my settings and "1", it must be some combination of more options...

Or it's a different OS?

FC 806 64-bit donor, Windows 10 64-bit 1809.

As soon as I changed that it worked in my customized FC. That's so strange.

It's the only thing I changed in the meantime.

Sure, if it appears again, I'll send the ini file to Marek, but for now the bug has gone.

Back to this again.

I have experienced this again.

I've found that deleting one file doesn't refresh but deleting two and above works fine.
