Need Relative Path ability

I want to use FreeCommanderXE, but I need to be able to use it on 100% portable USB sticks at multiple sites where I am using other people's computers and I do not have administrator rights. I see old posts suggesting using drive renaming schemes, but that will not work for my needs.

In Total Commander (TC), they use a method called the "Button Bar" into which you put your apps address from which you can click on the button icon and run the application. For example only, I use a text editor as follows:

%COMMANDER_PATH%\Metapad\metapad.exe

When I use TC anywhere from my USB stick, this relative path works. Is there something similar in FC?
