Hi All
I often use the shortcut Ctrl-Q to preview images in a quick preview panel. It works perfectly in Vista, but recently I got another PC with Windows 7. The shortcut Ctrl-Q does no work at all. However I can open a quick preview panel if I use menu View -> quick preview panel.
I copied all settings from my freecommander XE installed in Vista to Windows 7, but it did not help.
Could you please advise how to fix the problem.
Thanks.
Ctrl-Q problem in Windows 7
Re: Ctrl-Q problem in Windows 7
First step is to check if you really have Ctrl+Q shortcut assigned to Quick view (Tool->Define keyboard shortcuts):

Then you have to check if you have another application running that might "steal" that shortcut (it might have it assigned as a global hotkey). I use Ethervane ActiveHotkeys for this purpose (might give you some trouble if your OS is 64 bit, but it's worth a shot - worked for me on my win7x64 when I needed); it's a small portable freeware app made by Marek Jedlinski.

Thank you joby_toss!
Yes I found that my silent translator uses it.
I also found another nice program
http://hkcmdr.anymania.com/
which is very useful to find and change used shortcuts.
