How to add folders from a USB stick to the Favorite panel?

#1 Post by Drool » 23.11.2012, 00:28

Any way to add folders from a USB stick to the Favorites panel?
Something like "%FcSrcDrive%Programs\Notepad++6.2\notepad++.exe"
... instead of "L:\Programs\Notepad++6.2\notepad++.exe": this kind of favorites not synchronize themselves when I switch between my workstations :/

But the "file containers" could be a solution, if I had understand how they work ?

- Open "Favorite items" dialog Ctrl+Shift+F
- Select your favorite item
- Change the "Active panel" field to e.g.:
%FcSrcDrive%\Program Files (x86)\IrfanView\i_view32.exe

Doh! Sorry, I thought you meant to open every folder as a tab in FC. After I read Marek's reply, I realize I misunderstood.
