Not yet perfect

#1 Post by WheresTheDoc » 15.11.2012, 03:09

I've found one thing that is preventing FC from attaining perfection.

When we copy a bunch of files to someplace, if there are duplicate files, a dialog box will pop up, asking whether we should "Copy and Replace" or "Don't copy" or "Copy, but keep both files". Is it possible to include one more option "Overwrite Older Files"?

- Go to Settings-File/folder operations and activate "Use FreeCommander"
- In copy/move dialog you have the combo box with many options "For overwrite decision"

I cannot find the Settings choice ("File/Folder Operations") to do this: (- Go to Settings-File/folder operations and activate "Use FreeCommander"; - In copy/move dialog you have the combo box with many options "For overwrite decision" )

In the menu "Tools", click on "Settings".
Click on the 5th line "File/folder operations".
There, you can click "Use FreeCommander" under Copy and also Move.
