0. Enable "Full row select"
1. Enable "Select items in NC-Mode"
Result: there is only full-row focus rectangle around current item, but colour filling is only around name
2. Enable "Theme off"
Result: there is no even full-row focus rectangle. The same with "NC-mode" OFF

[601] Full row select does not always work
Re: [601] Full row select does not always work
Sorry, but I can't reproduce this. I've used the same settings as yours for the past many versions, but never had this problem. Specifically, it works correctly (color across the full row) in 603. Win 7 x64. Maybe someone else can reproduce it.
Re: [601] Full row select does not always work
Oh, I see what's going on. You are in List view, whereas I was describing Details view. So your problem is specific to that view only.
I notice that your columns are very far apart, which contributes significantly to the visual problem you describe. You might try enabling "Autosize For Name Column" in Settings > View > Custom Columns; define a List view, then enable that option in the Define Columns dialog. I haven't tried that myself, but it could help you.
The publicly available beta download is 601. Intermediate builds are available to donors only. See viewtopic.php?f=6&t=22 for details and
viewtopic.php?f=6&t=775 for the latest release to donors.

Re: [601] Full row select does not always work
My columns are very apart because there are files with long names and "Max. column width for listview" is 0 (auto)I notice that your columns are very far apart, which contributes significantly to the visual problem you describe.
Maybe i misunderstand something or overlooked a setting, but...You might try enabling "Autosize For Name Column" in Settings > View > Custom Columns; define a List view, then enable that option in the Define Columns dialog.
If i create custom single-column profile, there will always be only one file column in the panel, whereas in List View there could be several columns depending on the longest filename (as it seems).
Re: [601] Full row select does not always work
You are correct. Defining a profile with Name as the only column indeed does not wrap that column in the way that the true List view does. I was just guessing at a workaround whereby you could get full row select to work. But the lack of column wrapping may be an unacceptable downside.Jarz wrote:If i create custom single-column profile, there will always be only one file column in the panel, whereas in List View there could be several columns depending on the longest filename (as it seems).
So getting back to your point, I can confirm that the problem you reported is indeed an issue, and is limited to List view. Tested in 603.
