Copy or Move a folder or a file from L pane to R pane

#1 Post by tosim » 12.03.2012, 17:17

When I go to Copy or Move a folder or a file from L pane to R pane(or vice versa) the folder opens as soon as I highlight it. I then have to click on Up one level arrow to go back and then I can either use the arrows in center column or drag and drop. (Same thing happens when I want to rename.) How can I stop this from occurring? Thank you.

Could you explain it, please? Which file/folder operation options are you using (WIN/FC/EXTERNAL) and which options are you using in "Select items"?

In File/Folder Ops, am using:Rename-Allow rename on slow double click;Delete-Use Windows; Copy-Use Free Commander; Move-Use Free Comander. Thank you.

Maybe "open folder with single click" is activated at Extras > Settings > Select items > Open folder with single click

Right, it might be a conflict between these options.

Thank you both for the replies. Yes, I had it set on single click. Unchecked that, and now working fine. Thanks again.
