Idea: Virtual Filtered Folder

Salvete! I have been thinking about that File Cart, and came up with another idea. What if you could save a filtered folder as a favourite? For example, I go to one of my working folders where I have lots of subfolders and they are all full of pdfs. I often need to go the parent folder, set the filter to *.pdf, and turn on flat view. Then I get a view of all the pdfs in the parent folder. How neat it could be if I could save that view as a favourite (and organize in Marek's new favourites organizer.... )

And I would like to see a drop-down arrow on the quick filter box to access the last 5/10 used filtering strings:

ATM the quick filter is applied globally to each panel.
in my opinion, a better way is to apply an unique quick filter to each tab, therefore each tab would filter individually.
