Customize Favourite Toolbar - add folder
Customize Favourite Toolbar - add folder
Salvete! When we customize buttons to "add folder" we get a dialogue for browse. But what if I already know the path and have it in the clipboard? At this point should be a normal Open/Browse Dialogue where one can paste in the file path. I don't want to "browse" for anything. What would be better is if we could just add a "blank" custom item and fill it in with whatever we want. I would remove "Folder" and "Program" from the little plus-sign menu, and just put "new item". There are already "..." buttons to browse for folders and programs if we want them. But I want to paste my paths!

Re: Customize Favourite Toolbar - add folder
Also, if I add a folder, then add a separator in the same edit session, most of the time when I close the edit session, I lose all the work I just did. - oh, and if I try to add a folder on the desktop, it does not get anything of what I chose in the browse session - no name, no folder - it just gives me a blank... but that isn't the right way to get a blank...

Marek - you are wonderful! You did it! I went to add a new item, and found that I could do exactly that! Thank you! Now, if you can just allow for FC functions in our "favourite" toolbars - like in old FC. Then we can mix and match FC functions with our own.
