Desktop Filter malfunction

#1 Post by BGM » 10.10.2011, 21:55

Hello! Okay, I have two problems with the desktop in a tab. One, it doesn't show everything. I have several icons on the desktop that just don't show up in FCXE's (version 553) desktop tab - even after a refresh. They are .lnk files. Also, I can't seem to apply a filter to the desktop either. The filter just doesn't do anything; the colour of the background changes like it is supposed to, but it doesn't filter.

Could you check the last release 555. You mean filter and not quick filter?

Hey! The *quick*filter works (that is what I meant before), but I still have the problem that not all the links on the desktop appear in the desktop tab. Even with the quickfilter on I don't see them. I know for certain that at least two are missing.

Could you send me some screenshots with Explorer and FC Desktop?
Detailed info about not showed links would be good too.

Marek, okay, I didn't want to post them to the server, so I sent them to you via email.

Oh, uh, detailed information about the links... They are simply shortcuts to programs that the installation apps added there. From what I see, there are at least two or three missing. And I have even restarted my computer since they were installed.
