[fixed - thanks] 794 - multiple file opening leads to crash

#1 Post by alf5000 » 27.02.2019, 10:15

1) select two or more files (e.g. .docx-files)
2) hit enter
3) files are opened correctly, but FCXE 794 crashes

I also have experienced peculiar behaviour when opening multiple files as you described. FC reacts differently in my case:

A Window opens, asking if I really want to open the selected files. Upon confirmation, the files are opened and FC silently closed.

This behaviour is inconsistent, after ca. 5 tests opening files (also checking if it made a difference in cases where the software programs (readers, editors etc.) were already opened or not), FC did not shutdown silently, but stayed open.

Have also tried opening files of different file types, (i.e. pdf, txt, xlsx, docx,...) simultaneously, same behaviour as described above.

As I reported, behaviour inconsistent, FC now stays open after opening multiple files at once.

I suppose fixed for next version, because at least for "FreeCommanderXE-64-donor_portable794.zip" the bug is still there.
