The option to compare files requires an external program. Can someone please recommend some programs that might be used for this purpose?

Is it possible to access the linux wsl$ folder from Freecommander?

In File Explorer I can access my linux files in the windows subsystem linux directory below. Freecommander does not seem to be aware of \\wsl$ though.

Is there any way I can access my linux files using Freecommander?

"\\wsl$\Ubuntu-18.04"

-Thanks

Question regarding setting items color

Can someone tell me how to change the address bar and file headings, i.e., Name, Size Auto, etc., to a dark color? I'm going for a Windows File Explorer dark theme.

Here's a screenshot:

Anything I can do to increase network access?

FreeCommander is often very sluggish when accessing a share I have mapped on my laptop from a Synology NAS. Windows Explorer doesn't seem to have any issues accessing the same share. Is there anything I can do to increased access speed to a network share? Regarding the Synology NAS, to my dismay I f...

Re: Using FreeCommander from the command line?

No idea if it applies to your situation, but I have a similar situation in my EMAIL client program (a 3rd-party product named Agent, from Forte). There is a way to override standard Windows default programs when launching an email attachment, allowing the user to specify the command-line to be invo...

Re: Using FreeCommander from the command line?

/C Starts FC and passes the command line parameters to the already running instance If I add the /C like: C:\Program Files\FreeCommander XE\FreeCommander.exe /C It doesn't load the photo in the running instance of FC. If I remove the /C, it shows the photo in a new instance of FC. Any ideas? -Thanks

In my photo editor Photo Studio I have a hotkey assigned which opens the current photo file in FreeCommander: C:\Program Files\FreeCommander XE\FreeCommander.exe This displays the file in a new instance of FC.
