FreeCommander Forum

The file "FreeCommander.exe" inside "FreeCommanderXE-32-donor_portable917.zip" identifies as version "2024.0.0.916".

I'm seeing this on Microsoft Windows 10 Pro (x64) Version 22H2 (OS Build 19045.5073).

I have experienced the same with: FreeCommander XE 2020 Build 825 & 826 64-bit donor, on Windows 10 64-bit Version 2004 (OS Build 19041.423)

Build 673 is showing wrong "SizeOnDisk Byte(s)".

For example:
For pagefile.sys it shows "Size Byte(s)" as 3,748,962,304 but shows "SizeOnDisk Byte(s)" as 9,844,241,136,091,136. This must be wrong because the drive capacity is less than 250,000,000,000 Bytes.

The file properties shows the smaller ...

I got zip drag & drop working now on 32-bit version and 64-bit version on 663 and 666.

I have 7zip 9.22 installed and it was set as the default program to handle zip files; that seems to have been the problem.

I am sorry; I am actually using "%FcSrcPath%\Plugins\wcx_Total7zip_0856\ Total7zip.wcx64 " and "%FcSrcPath%\Plugins\wcx_Total7zip_0856\ 64\7z.sfx " that I got from http://www.totalcmd.net/plugring/Total7zip.html

I'll check on that and post back my findings.

When I attempt to drag & drop a file to add it to an existing *.zip archive, nothing happens. Actually before dropping the file, the cursor changes to a circle with a diagonal line through it.

Version 663 on Windows 7 Pro 64 bit, using Total 7zip 64 bit plugin. (corrected)
