I expected that "focus previous/next item" will jump to previous/next item by last access timestamp, not to previous/next item in the folder.

Editing files inside an archive works fine only with default (Notepad) editor, but I doubt that even MS people use Notepad for anything :-D

Thanks Timon, I can see it now 
I agree that PSPad is more useful than WinMerge and for now it will be my default comparator in FreeCommander, but I really hope that Marek can do it better
