virtualbox shared folders always show as "disconnected network drive" with a red "X" over the drive icon. the drives work just fine but the red "X" remains even after refreshing the drive.

when "full row select" is enabled you cannot left click & drag to select multiples files unless you left click to the right of the last visible column.

however, when "full row select" is not enabled you can left click & drag and select multiple files once you click to the right of the name column ...

after extracting an archive when the current directory is automatically refreshed the preceding file/folder is selected. the consequences of this can be severe.
