I don't understand your screenshot!
You're writing that the "tools" section doesn't show up in your toolbar setup screen.
But on your screenshot there is a "tools" entry, but the "adress" entry is highlighted.
The "Tools" entry is not there in standard configuration! (look at the screenshot from ...

That's very strange, indeed!
Try downloading the latest version (build 671 x64 portable), launch it with the default settings and check again the "Tools->Customize toolbars..." menu.

671 seems to do it. I loaded with default settings first, and tools were then available in the action toolbar ...

I'm trying to get a DOS box icon into the action toolbar so I can have one nice row of tool buttons. First of all, I don't see it as an action option anymore (coming from FC2009). Does someone know how to get it listed there?

Go to a directory with a huge number of sub-dirs/folders
Choose flat view--files
note the background color changes
Get tired of waiting, hit ESC
