Overview of the user interface - File system tree panel |

The position of the "File system tree panel" in the main window is shown in chapter "Overview of the user interface".
Activating the menu item "View → Tree" or the shortcut "Ctrl+T" activates/deactivates the "File system tree panel".
If the "File system tree panel" is deactivated, the icon
is shown in front of the menu item. If its activated the icon
is shown.
Where and how the "File system tree panel" is shown can be defined under the menu item "Tools → Settings → View → Tree"
Activating the shortcut "Shift+TAB" switches the focus between the active "File/folder panel" and the "File system tree panel".
Navigation in the file system tree panel
- Basic navigation keys: Left, Right, Up, Down
- Numeric keypad + key
Expand the selected node only. - Numeric keypad - key
Collapse the selected node only. - Numeric keypad * key
Expand all sub nodes of the selected node. - Clicking the node name
If the option "Auto expand on click" is checked in the "Management" tab of the menu item "Tools → Settings → View → Tree", the level below the selected node will open. - Double clicking the node name
Expand the selected node only. - CTRL+Double-click on the node name
Collapse all opened sub nodes and then open the selected node only.
