This example shows how to define an automatic view for the "Music" folder and all sub-folders with the sorting on "Modified" time-stamp.

• If "Automatic views" are not active, the "Default view" has to be defined first and the option "Switch view mode automatically on folder change" has to be activated:

• Change to the Music folder, e.g. in the right panel. Set the detailed view and sorting there as desired later.

• With Shift+F1 in the right panel the column profiles pop-up menu has to be opened and  "Add current column profile specific to folder..." selected.

• The name of the new profile has to be defined.

• With Shift+F1 in the right panel  the column profiles pop-up menu has to opened and  "Add current view specific to folder..." selected

• The name of the new view has to be defined

• If all worked properly, the settings for the automatic view "Music" should be complete. 

• Change the condition so that all sub-folders can use this view. 

• Save all settings

Now as soon as you change to your Music folder the view and sorting changes automatically.
