If the cursor is over the main menu item "Edit → Copy to clipboard" a sub menu with the following items is opened:
This menu is opened also after activating the "Address bar - actions toolbar" button .
- Copy item path to clipboard
After activating this menu item or the shortcut "Alt+Ins" the paths of the items (files and/or folders), selected in the active panel, are copied to the clipboard.
Depending on how the item paths are written to the clipboard, 5 menu items are offered.
- Copy item path to clipboard
- Copy item path to clipboard (8.3)
- Copy item path to clipboard (Web)
- Copy item path to clipboard (UNC)
- Copy item path to clipboard (UNC - Web)
The differences are explained below.
- Copy folder path to clipboard
After activating this menu item or the shortcut "Ctrl+Alt+Ins" the path, of the active folder in the active panel, is copied to the clipboard.
Depending on how the folder paths are written to the clipboard, 4 menu items are offered
- Copy folder path to clipboard
- Copy folder path to clipboard (8.3)
- Copy folder path to clipboard (Web)
- Copy folder path to clipboard (UNC)
The differences are explained below.
- Copy item name to clipboard
After activating this menu item or the shortcut "Shift+Alt+Ins" the names of the items (files and/or folders), selected in the active panel, are copied to the clipboard.
Depending on how the item paths are written to the clipboard, 2 menu items are offered:
- Copy item name to clipboard
- Copy item name to clipboard (8.3)
The differences are explained below..
- Copy item name without extension to clipboard
After activating this menu item the names of the items (files and/or folders), selected in the active panel, are copied to the clipboard, without their extensions. - Copy details to clipboard
Activating this menu item copies all rows, selected in the active panel, to the clipboard.
All columns of the view are copied, separated by tabs. This command is only executed, if a detail view is active.

In DOS and older windows versions only file names with a maximum number of 8 characters and extensions with 3 digits were allowed. The 8.3 name is still stored in each file. If a file has a longer name, the 6th character is followed by a tilde and a consecutive numbering.
(UNC)
The UNC address presents a network path to address resources of other computers in the network.
(Web)
Web link to a file or folder
(UNC - Web)
File link with network name.
