Hi - Until recently I've been using an older version of FC on W7. On upgrading to W10, I've installed FC XE (Donor). I've pretty much got it configured how I like...but for one thing...

In the old version, when you used F7 to create a new folder, the focus stayed on the new folder so that pressing Enter again opened the new empty folder. On the new version, focus stays with the parent folder. Is there anyway to force the new FC to act in the same way?

I'll take that as a "No" then

When you create new folder, you have to press F7, type name, press Enter, so you can just press Enter again to enter the new folder.
