To replicate with fresh settings.

1. Ctrl + G to open layouts edit.
2. Add 3 new layouts for example.
3. Check the 'Ignore main window size and position' checkbox.
4. Click 'OK'.
5. Go to View > Layout > Auto save current layout.
6. Ctrl + G to open layouts edit.
7. Some of the layouts have that 'Ignore main window size and position' checkbox unchecked.
8. After this, this setting exhibits unwanted behaviour whereby that setting will not stick after this.

I can confirm it. The option will be unchecked if "Auto save current layout" is used.

Yes, It would be great to have both enabled.
