Semi-related to this last issue I've posted here.

Should it not close any tab by double-click whether or not it's active or not.

Confirmed,

in active tab double click is closing the tab,
in inactive tab double click is opening a copy of the tab.

BUG - Double clicking on inactive tab opens a new tab when the close on doubleclick setting is enabled
