File attribute L

#1 Post by hello » 18.02.2018, 13:50

Hi,

does anybody know how to make freecommander show the L file attribute like File Explorer does?

Thank you.

Thank you for the response Marek. I want to display the L attribute, not change it. For example when I have a list of files/subfolders and some of them are junctions, freecommander doesn't display the L attribute. It recognizes the junction as a junction (the icon changes) but it doesn't display the L attribute.

What exactly do you mean, which attribute is it in explorer? Perhaps some screenshot might help.

You can add any column in details view, in Windows category, right click the column header, click "add/remove columns" and select the item you need - the same as in explorer.

OK, I have added "Reparse Point" L attribute to the Attributes column.

Thanks both of you.

Dreamer, I didn't realize there are 2 types of "attributes" columns (one in the freeCommander section and one in the Windows section) - the one from Windows did the trick (it displays all the attributes just like File Explorer does).

As a side note it would be nice for FreeCommander to list the attribute names if the mouse is hovered over that column.
