Context menu is suddenly very slow to open, _if_ it opens

FreeCommander XE 2017 Build 740 32-bit public, Windows 10.0 Pro Build 10586 (64-bit)
The problem started today - I've used FreeCommander XE 2017 for months and the context menu worked fine before.
I tried using the command line options suggested, "/N /NewIni=FreeCommanderTest.ini /NoPlugins /Lng=English". This did not help.
The context menu works if I run as administrator, but programs run as administrator won't play nice with other programs - so that's not a usable workaround.
