FreeCommander Forum

I'm using windows 10 and when I try to backup settings or restore all settings from the tools menu, i get an ole error. I did follow instructions to send the bug report.
I've searched this forum and google and I haven't seen any other reports of this error.
Anyone else seen this or have a solution?
I had been using an older version, but I updated it and it's still happening.
The stack indicates that it was calling olecheck at the time and the error type was an invalid parameter....

It would be nice to know what is your FC version?

My help about menu says it's build 715. I just reinstalled the latest so that should be the latest.
However, I think I found the problem.
I normally don't reboot my system very often, and Microsoft had installed a windows update without rebooting. I shut down my system and started it up again and the problem is fixed!!!!!!!!!!
So....I guess...problem solved. That should have occurred to me earlier....sorry....
