Looking for a file manager for my girl friend. Thought FC would be a good one. So I had to install it. To send her this all stuff, I would have to split the original installation into 2-3 parts to e-mail. So I went to File -> Split. Then, splitting with a bat file was Ok. Below, I saw an EXE option. --I could not catch up the idea why making an EXE file in this section while BAT file is much better (bat can be e-mailed, exe can't).- I can't see it.

Maybe the exe option is for people who have bat files blocked from running for security reasons ???

I don`t really know why that is the case, but you can email an exe file if you zip/rar it first.....

and rather than split the file to send to your girlfriend, could you just upload it to a filesharing site (like Rapidshare) in one piece ?

The EXE option has build in CRC check.
