Tree columns
Tree columns
Must be missing something simple - unable to figure out how to get a single column on the right for files, to avoid having to scroll horizontally. Which setting would accomplish this? Thanks! ...Steve
Re: Tree columns
Thanks, but I have no idea what to do with this. I have FC on another computer with two columns and no horizontal scrolling. Unfortunately can't recall how I got there, but the Column Profile setting wasn't changed from the default. There was a simple setting somewhere that I'm missing again (this is what happens when you get old)
Re: Tree columns
You just follow the instructions from the help file and delete the columns you don't need (use the icon with the red X on it).
Maybe you can post a screenshot for us to see exactly what you want to achieve.

Re: Tree columns
Thanks Joby, but it appears I haven't explained this properly. On the left side of the screen is a single column of folders. When I click on a folder, its files appear on the right side of the screen. But if there are a lot of files, I need to scroll horizontally to see the rest of them because they're in multiple columns. Instead, I want them in a single column that I can scroll vertically. This (I think) is a simple setting that I'm somehow missing.

Re: Tree columns
Thanks horst, that did the trick. Thought I had done that already, but apparently not.
