Good afternoon!

I am new to FreeCommander (I'm been using Total Commander until today) and I have a question about deleting files:
I have a subdirectory with many folders and a total of about 250.000 files.
When I try to delete the rootfolder ("Delete permanently") it reads the files in a few secondes and then it takes ages ("Preparing deletion...".) and nothing happens anymore (or didn't I wait long enough?)

Am I doing something wrong?

You can try different file operation option in Settings > File/folder operation > General > Delete > then use Windows or FreeCommander, or external program.
