Missing option to ADD NEW (folder or file) via right click?

Hey folks,

I'm totally new to FreeCommander XE and to this forum. I liked FreeCommander XE from the start. However there is one function I expected to work that I haven't found yet: right-clicking into one of the windows showing folder contents to have a pop up menu offering the option to, for instance, add new folder, add new text file and so on (like in windows explorer or in the 2009 version of FreeCommander). In FreeCommander 2009 I right-click a blank space inside the folder window. In XE, there is no blank space so there's always an object inside the folder selected which results in a different context menu (no option to "add new whatever").Am I missing anything here or is this option not (yet) available in FreeCommander XE?

Greetings
Zap

In Details and List views you can Right click the very end of the files list:

P.S. you can even Right click on any scroll bar (vert./hor.) in the active panel.

You can also use new finction inroduced in FC XE 702 donor: Right click with the pressed control key changes the meaning of the option RightClickEmptySpaceFcMenu

Thanks a lot, joby_toss for your quick response! Clicking on the scroll bar will do it for me because if the folder contains many files and folders there is no blank space at the very end of the list in details view.
Timon, I don't own a donor edition (yet).
Again, thank you.

If you don't want to use a keyboard shortcut, F7, then you can create a toolbar button, or splitter, it's even faster and easier than right click - context menu.
