Hello,
Is it possible to highlight recently changed folders/files by changing their color in the list? This is a feature common in similar file managers I think?

Is the "hot item" setting is the one that I want? I couldn't figure it if this is the same thing.

I think he wants to highlight new/changed folders/files, like:

- files renamed with multi rename
- new files copied to folder
- new files added to folder in other program

The only such feature, not exactly the same is this one:

Settings > view > file/folder list > refresh > add new items at the end of the list

I think he wants to highlight these "new items".

I support this request, but since we have many colors for different file types, perhaps it would be better to change the background color of new files, or/and border.

Exactly !

Changing color of the background is the most efficient way. When there are so many files in folders, this feature really helps you browse quickly to the most recently modified files.

If I should give an example (from another similar program):

Files modified in <30 mins: Green background
Files modified today: Light green background
