slow network copy

#1 Post by sphinxx » 16.11.2015, 20:18

FC is great file manager. I used other manages before and switched to FC because its clear and simple UI. I mostly use file managers for file operations. Here lies the problem - network copying on FC is sooo slow, especially large files.
I know there's setting to use windows routines for file operations, but I can't quit the luxury of FC's file copy options. That's why I use file managers, that's why I started to use FreeCommander.
Reading this forum I can see this problem has a long history. Why? File managers should be the best at file operations in the first place.
My last hope is that 64bit (donation) version is faster. Is it?

The only difference between 32 and 64-bit versions - is support for 64-bit mode.
64-bit version has no other differences and improvements vs 32-bit version.
