\\NETWORK-DRIVE\1\2\3\

On my network drives Folder Size only show for level 3 onward.

How to get it to show for level 2 (and possibly 1)?

Thanks.

If you press Space when a folder is selected, does XE calculate its size?

I see ALT+F9 or SPACE displaying the folder size at the bottom of the window (1 Object(s) selected XXX MB).

But not in the Size column. Actually when I go to level 2 onward (\\NETWORK-DRIVE\1\2\) the column is labelled Size Auto and display folder sizes automatically.

On a regular drive the column is labelled Size Auto from the top level and display folder sizes automatically (with ALT+F9).

Is it possible to get this to work on a network drive or is this a bug?

I think the problem is with network drives, because they can't work as fast as your HDD. So try to wait much time to see folder sizes. Probably folders in level 3 have not many files, and folder level 1 and 2 are rather big.

Thought about that and need to wait to get sizes computed and displayed at the bottom of the window but even when that seems completed for all folders and waiting longer the sizes do not automatically display in the column.

The column label being different (Size vs Size Auto) seems to give a hint of difference in functionality.

In build 687 there was a related bug fixed.
- Implemented: Default column profile works with network shares too

Thanks for the update.

I'm on 685 which seems to be the latest public version from what I see.
