Shortcut creation for URLs [UPDATED]

Hello,

I have a feature request. Let me describe what is possible with Windows Explorer. When you take a browser as Firefox, Google Chrome or a variant of it and drag the text of the address bar to the free space of a directory that is opened in the Windows Explorer, a ".url" file is created, that's a shortcut to a website.

Is that possible with FreeCommander, too?

Thank you!

It works already for me.

That's strange. It works for me, too, now. In the past I've always had a forbidden-circle cursor. Could there still be some problem in circumstances you know of?

Update:
According to some information it has to do with a higher elevation of the process than Windows explorer (or the browser?). See, e.g.: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/patricka/archiv ... -uipi.aspx. Could this be clarified with a message by FreeCommander instead of just showing the forbidden-cursor? Or could it be made possible anyway?

Update:
When googling for "ChangeWindowMessageFilter admin drag drop", there seems to be a possibility to allow drag-and-drop operations when running elevated.
