left panel = tree, right panel = details without tree

Hello,

I'm new to FC XE and am looking for a feature I was familiar with in 2008 FC. I used to have the left panel set to a 'tree' view, and the right panel set to a 'details' view. When I do this in FC XE, everything on the left navigates as expected. But when I switch focus to the right panel and start to navigate over there, the tree portion of the left panel follows me and updates to show where I am in the right panel. Is there a way to keep the left panel wired to that tree view and keep the right panel in details view, and have it *not* update the tree view over on the left?

Thanks for any help!

Almost! Looks like that un-wires both the left and right panels (so the tree doesn't follow either one).

Is there a way to keep the left panel wired to the tree view, so the tree follows the left panel but doesn't follow the right panel?

Tools -> Settings -> View -> Tree -> General -> One tree per panel, then activate the tree (Alt+T) only for left panel.
