How to Add Custom Button to Splitter Bar

I found instructions for adding custom buttons to the toolbars. But I can't figure out how to add custom buttons to the splitter bar.

Easiest way to add predefined buttons: Right click on the Splitter bar and choose Customize toolbars...
No way to add custom buttons...yet.

Sorry, only Marek knows if/when this feature will be added. I would also like this as an option.

What do you mean with the "custom button"? What the function should have the button?

Own favorite tools (would be great to be able to integrate a favorite toolbar into the splitter bar).
