Often, when I have FCXE open to a folder in which another process is making a lot of changes (adding files, deleting files, etc.), and leave it alone long enough, FCXE will crash. I'll have the folder open and start the other application that's making the changes, and can see FCXE dutifully refreshing the folder contents as the changes occur. However, if I walk away and come back later, I'll find FCXE either unresponsive, or it has a Windows "This application has stopped working" message. (The other application/process may or may not have finished its work by that point, but in any case it's unaffected.)
It seems that the frequent, continual folder updates are causing some sort of problem within FCXE.
This does not happen in folders whose contents are static/unchanging.
FCXE build 674 (x64) on Windows 7.
